Sacrament of Confirmation
- Confirmation is the last step of initiation in the catholic church. It is the rite in which a baptized person affirms christian belief.
- The form of Conformation is " BE sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit."
- The matter of Conformation is Holy Chrism [oil] and Laying on of hands by the Bishop or Priest.
- The administers of Conformation are only Priests and Bishops.
Confirmation name
- My confirmation name is Matthew.
- I chose the name Matthew to be my confirmation name because I feel like saint matthew was a unique and mysterious saint. No one knows how he died and there are not to many recordings of him. Saint Matthew is often discribed with one of the four creatures of revelations 4:7. "The first living creature was like a lion, the second like a bull, the third living creature had a human face, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle."
Confirmation Sponsor
- My confirmation sponsor was Scott Sullivan.
- I chose him to be my sponsor because I look up to him as a role model. I call Scott my uncle but he is really a family friend. Scott and I always hang out whether it's going out on his boat or just hanging out barbecuing during the summer. In the winter him and I usually get breakfast during the weekend or go out fishing on the charter boats together. Scott is the one person who I can tell anything and he is always there whenever I need advice.
